    buttery and smooth cigar

OK Chewie. Have a look at this and see if it's worth a try: Chewbacco Buttery Blends :whistling:

    buttery and smooth cigar

I agree that the Mantequilla is buttery, and in fact that's what I believe the name means. I'd also give the Fonseca nats a try, they have buttery notes to me. :)

Pics of today's La Aurora event

Chewie, I've never been able to find a website for them. I'll call Rene and see when they might be out your way. Our event was in Hockessin, DE

OK folks. You might want to give this page another look, since we added a whole bunch more stuff today, and there'll be more to come over the next week or so. Thanks!

Hey everybody, check out this newbie! (18 YEARS LATER!)

Congratulations! I remember when my kids were little how much work they were, but how much fun at the same time. I hope you have as many years of pleasure watching him grow and to a fine young man as I've had watching my children grow.

Is it cretinous to use a pocket knife?

There is a reason I have one very long and sharp thumbnail. I'm never without a way of decapitating a stogie. :p

    Ashton Aged Maduro #20

Well, you missed about 120 guys smoking La Auroras that were rolled on the spot, and we didn't even set off the smoke alarm! :D The Presidente beer was pretty good too, though we had one guy who hung around all afternoon for the free beer and never even smoked a cigar. Rene put on a great...

My mom just broke her shoulder

Sorry to hear that. She has our best wishes for a speedy recovery. I also used to lecture on birding at Elderhostels here at home and always enjoyed it. Hope she's back at it soon!

Padron 2000 Maduro + One year in the humi

This was a nice review, and indeed it's my experience as well that these sticks improve with age. As to some of the other issues raised: Remember that, while the blend may be the same, and undoubtedly is with the Padron x000 line, the percentage of filler to wrapper changes based on the size of...

    Partagas Serie D #4

One of me customers brought me this one this afternoon. Nice smoke and fairly punchy. I'll edit this with a more complete review tomorrow when I recover.

    Ashton Aged Maduro #20

Sorry to hear you didn't like that one Wilkey. I kind of like them when I'm looking for a milder maduro. Bring me the stump and I'll give you another one to try, though I can't imagine it's an inconsistency problem in the Ashton. Must have been the tea. :p Missed you yesterday. Good show...

Pics of today's La Aurora event

Just thought I'd let those folks who expressed interest but couldn't make it today see a small slice of what happened. The first picture is (L to R): Joe McDonough (One of our humidor guys), Frank Speciale (Owner), Gary Griffith (Humidor Manager), and Rene from Miami Cigar. Next up is a...

    Insider info about PAM 64's

I'm afraid I have to agree with the others. As far as I'm aware this simply isn't accurate information. And as to Padron reps, in all the years we've carried Padron I've never met a rep. Maybe they just don't love me enough to send one?
