What about a cuban. Would that be perhaps better? Maybe a Cohiba Robusto or something of that sort. Have you tried a 5 vegas classic? Just curious. Very good cigar in my opinion and much cheaper than the 858'S. I have not tried an 858 so cannot judge as to which is better.

Have you loaded the humidor with your cigars yet? Sometime that can cause the problem. The cigars if they were dry might have sucked up all the humidity. If not than you might want to let the humidor sit for a few more days with the shot glass of distilled.

Great review. My dad just got a handful of them from his local wine and smoke shop. I promptly confiscated one and it is sitting in my humidor. Can't wait to try it now.

That is for sure. However the fact that it is a perfecto shape means that in my realm of experience it could be one of the aforementioned cigars. The only other one that has that shape is the Legend Aniversario or something of that sort. But it has a different band.

Well I tried the salt test on my digital hygrometer. When I looked at it around 6 hours it was at 96% rh. I must have done it wrong. I am not sure. Is it ok to salt test the digitals?
