Good point about keeping a punch cutter around......they're especially useful when you have a cigar with a fragile wrapper, like some of the new AJ Fernandez smokes. A punch helps you avoid splitting the head.

I fully agree.....imho flavor profile is quite consistent throughout the sizes, but the smaller smokes have more kick. I like the pirhana a lot......but imho the carioca (4" X 38) is one of the best smaller cigars on the market.

All good points....but I still find it amazing that certain cigars maintain remarkable consistency from crop to crop. There are a lot of factors, yet some brands remain nearly completely the same from year to year. No doubt very hi QC plays a role......I have also heard it speculated that...
