    ISO...Telescope

Not sure if this should go in buy/sell since it is not cigar related... I want to purchase a used telescope (don't have too much to spend). I owned a 60mmX700mm refractor but sold it for $30 because I want something bigger. I am looking for at least a 114mm reflector. With my old one I...

'my brother got it in Guatemala'

Don't know if it is real or not but 1 ring gauge is 1/64". Therefore a ring gauge of 64 is 1 inch and a ring gauge of 32 is 1/2".

    2007 Infiniti G35x vs 2007 Lexus IS250 AWD

I have a 97 Merc, does that sound as cool? :whistling: I used to have an ES300 so I am partial to Lexus on most occasions. However, between those two I would probably go with the G35...I love both though.

    Hmm...Start Pipe Smoking?

Well, tried the Frank method with the same results. It didn't even taste good when I actually did get some smoke. Guess I should expect that for $3 tobacco? I will try it again but don't know what else to do, I followed that Frank guy on youtube perfectly.

    Hmm...Start Pipe Smoking?

hmm, ok. I tamped it pretty hard I thought. A full bowl changed to a half or less after tamping.

    Hmm...Start Pipe Smoking?

The draw was pretty easy and the moisture seemed about right (pinch test). Maybe my lighting technique was bad. psyktek mentioned...1st light small short puffs until the tobacco rises above the bowl. 2nd light longer puffs, how long should the flame be held on the tobacco durring these two...

    Hmm...Start Pipe Smoking?

Ok, I got a straight Ozark at my B&M. Also got some tobacco the owner recommended... It is aromatic, Smoker's Pride Vanilla. They only had one non-aromatic and it was $29! My first experience was horrible. I could only get 2 puffs and it would go out. I did the three pack method.

    Hmm...Start Pipe Smoking?

Ok, I will start with the bent one then. Most of you guys do not use filters, correct?

    Hmm...Start Pipe Smoking?

Awesome reply, thank you very much. I just found some cob pipes and really like the Ozark Mountain, I think I will start with that. Also, is there a difference in bent and straight other than looks/feel? Thanks again Wascal!

    Hmm...Start Pipe Smoking?

Here is the deal... My wife works as a CSM for Cub Foods and is not even full time. She likes her job so hate to ask her to get a new one. I work as a lighting technician and travel the lower 48. I am only 22 and this is a good job for me right now (even though money is not the greatest). I...

    Broken Wine Cooler...

I have a wooden cabinet humidor right now that I made. The seal is adequate but not great and the size is a little small for boxes (around 1.6ft^3). I want to get a wine cooler, probably around a 28 bottle size ~3ft^3. I have been searching for months with no luck. I have called local...

Awesome, I wanted to go too but could not afford it. I heard many callers on the KQ morning show and everyone said it was awesome!

    Was in TN for work...Stogies

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. I walked in the humi and the first thing that caught my eye was a gun metal box. I go up to it and it is Gurkha Titans. It was the coolest looking box I have ever seen. I actually asked him if he had any empties that he would be willing to sell. He said "No, that...

    Was in TN for work...Stogies

They had a pretty good selection. They had most of the Sam Adams (not all 21). Many micros that I have never heard of too.

    Was in TN for work...Stogies

It was nice, I liked it a lot. He said he would show UFC and Boxing matches on PPV too. If I was local, that is where I would be going.

    Was in TN for work...Stogies

I was in Franklin TN for work and drove by a place called Stogies. I stopped in when I got a chance, it was pretty nice. He just opened a few days ago, had a nice walk in humi, lounge, and tons of beers as well. Sounded like he had a lot of events linned up too. Anyone else been there?
