How long does it take for you to smoke a cigar?

Yep, same here. I don't intentionally time my cigars, but I typically watch an old movie out in the man cave while I smoke. Kind of makes me aware based on how much movie is left with no cigar!

    Pre-Embargo Henry Clay Diamontino

What an incredible story! Thanks for the review! Got a question about it, though... Today, such a well-preserved cigar is obviously a very rare commodity. There's no telling what it may be worth in today's post-embargo market. But when it was made, there was of course no embargo nor even the...

    Happy Fat Tuesday !

Being a native Louisianian (is that a word?), I should celebrate this evening with a smoke. But these danged Austin allergies are still holding me back. I'll clear up enough to breath freely, but then loose my sense of taste! :(

    Favorite Show

To be honest, there weren't very many bad ones! This was one of the few shows that I genuinely laughed out loud at each week. As for my personal faves, I'd have to say all those Finnish mythology tales. Ones like "The Day the Earth Froze" and "The Sword and the Dragon." Oh no, we've got MOVIE...

Mystery Science Theater 3000! Have every episode on tape, and am slowly converting them all to DVD.

    Wish Lists

I try to keep myself stocked with my usual favorites: Toranos Exodus Gold and 1916 Cameroon and the like. (A simple man with simple tastes!) So my wish list is natually comprised of sticks that I can't (or won't) fit into my cigar budget. I suppose it would be a few of the Opus line, and...

any one try the Cigars International Legends series?

I'm so intrigued by all these reviews and this line of cigars! Everyone has done such a nice job of reviewing them! I'd say one of the Legends sampler packs is in my future. Thanks to all of you for your opinions...

    CAO Palms - Rarity?

With that little black coffin too please, if you have it. I'm really drawn to unique packaging. And it sounds like this is one we won't be seeing very often...

    First on-line purchase!

I completely agree. If you're not keeping a cigar diary, a line as extensive as the Gurkha will get away from you. The Regents though, are always solid; can't go wrong with them!

    Rocky Patel

Then perhaps the CT line may indeed be just right for you. There's certainly nothing wrong with liking a really mild smoke. It's just that these particular really mild smokes are sometimes altogether tasteless. Might I suggest a Carlos Toranos "Casa Toranos." A very mild cigar, but lots of nice...

    CAO CRS Sampler four pack.

Once again hoshnasi, your photos are National Geographic quality! Very well-written review as well. I too enjoy the Brazilia, but give the Italia the slight edge. Pick up a couple if you haven't yet.

    What did you smoke today

Carlos Toranos Virtuoso. Rich and bold. Lots of smoke and a snow white ash. Always solid.

    Gurkha Estate select

Wow - That's the first time I've ever heard that! The only problem I've ever had with anything Gurkha was a couple construction hang-ups (and those may have come down to my storage). Their tastes are wonderful and cover the gamut. Have you tried everything in their line?

    Rocky Patel

I posted a review of the Connecticut a few months back: http://www.cigarpass.com/forums/index.php?...72&hl=patel You may want to consider a sampler. CI used to have a Rocky Patel grouping with a few Vintage 90s, a few Sungrowns, and a few Connnecticuts (I assume it's still offered). It may be a...
