It was really nice, very strong. On the bigger ring gauge Cohibas the last 1/3 is my favorite. It was a great smoke, but I prefer the thinner cohiba sticks: coronas especial, lanvero, etc...
Finally broke into the '17 Seleccion Robustos I got en Cuba en 2019.
Last night:
Partagas
D4
It was amazing, prime for enjoyment.
Tonight:
Cohiba
Robusto
Aganorsa Leaf
La Validacion
Habano
Toro
Less peppery than expected as a good surprise.
Perfect burn so far, strong ash. I was worried it would fall off at this point, but had to break it off.
They gotta make us work for it sometimes. Lol
I don't have nearly as many sticks vaporized as most folks here, but in my experience it seems Fuente's construction is generally great. I've only had a few problems with burn on Fuentes, and ironically, they were all Opus line.
Thanks!
I am a new member here and am grateful to be a part of the community. I don't know many members well yet. Surely you and aalvord2 go way back.
Unspoken expectations can turn to resentments, and since I am in the pass just wanted to be sure aalvord2 is taken care of in a way he is...
I'm not trying to railroad this or drive from the back, but am sharing my opinion.
1.) @Aalvord2 should be made whole before this moves forward on round two. The reality is that had the address been properly checked, it would have arrived at the destination. If I were the shipper I would...
Starting off the night with:
Liga Privada H99
Robusto
I tried the @MaytagMan thumb tuck, but almost dropped it on the ground. Quite the skillset you have developed there. ;)
.
It's nice to return to an old familiar staple. Especially a stick like that. Sometimes I wonder if I would like some of my old favorites as much if I were trying them now for the first time, instead of good memories flooding in with the 1st puffs.
I was just chilling with some non cigar friends and told them I had some that only had 15 months of age, and I'm hoping they keep getting better with age.
Buddies wife started laughing so hard she was crying. She finally choked out "You talk about your cigar like it's a fuc#ing baby. That's...
Johnny O
Siglo Vi, EL
I am well aware they don't actually come from EL, it's just what they are called.
These have about 15 months on them. A world better than when they were fresh, but still need more time. Had hints of greatness and excellent burn, but still have that green/ ammonia hint...
