@rbbrock I have a solution to that vomit problem! When my son, now the father to grandson #2, was about 6 he got an awful flu—fever, chills, aches, vomiting, the whole nine yards. So, about 1:00 a.m. he pukes, I go in and clean it up and comfort him like any good dad. Then I put his small...
Jimmy jumps to different instruments, A LOT. He's always got a bevy of them behind him and it's hard to keep track of what he's using. 😅
Not sure you saw this, @AVB . You were right, for your part of the song. This explains it. He was a maniac at changing guitars during a show. I wonder how...
Wrong. Watch the video. The top portion of the triple neck is a mandolin. You have to watch the video to see him playing it.
I tried to screncap it, but can't you have to watch it.
if you don’t watch the entire No Quarter Tour, don’t miss this version of The Battle of Evermore. It’s worth it just to watch Jimmy Page playing the mandolin section of his triple-necked guitar
Another of those no-name sticks, probably factory seconds but some companies don’t want their name on them. This is just labeled 90+ rated Nicaraguan Seconds. It’s pretty dang good though, probably 4-5 years old. Medium bodied about 6.5x52. Great construction and burn.
I don’t go in them that often but I’m not so good with up and down either. I make a pick list of sticks from my excel inventory, go down maybe once a month and bring the list up to the desktop humidor. Not too onerous once a month.
Glad I got this project behind me, though.
I think he’s right. And if I did all the other things I think he’d def give me a pass on the stogies. I gotta get control of the rest of my health, though.
So, we all know cigars are not great for you ... but, the guys who really know are the actuaries for the life insurance companies and most of them don't get too upset about cigars although they might beyond a certain number. I haven't bought life insurance in many years, but last time I did...
Wow, look at the shine on that joint! You're the $6 Million Dollar Man! 😅 Seriously, the PT sucks ass, but I've not talked to anyone who had this done who was not delighted with it in the end. Both knees and hip technology has come a long way in the last decade. Hang in there, Dawg!
How long...
@hydro-terp Funny you made that comment about the Cigar Jenga, it was a bit unstable. The foot on the upper one was on the top of the hinge for the lower fridge and I was worried about it.
Fixed it today with a 17” long and a 10” long piece of 1X3 between them, longer one in front, shorter one...
Following up post 19 - I’ve had a large tube of the RH Shield 65% beads in my desktop humidor (100 count box, the tube of beads for 250 sticks, I like having extra humidity “ballast”) since Sunday. Have two recently calibrated Caliber VI hygros in it.
Just opened it now, it is well-seasoned...
I seem to have lost all willpower and sense of restraint. MF The Judge Toro 10-pack, 6x52 LGD DL-600 5-pack, and a sampler of Florida Man cigars. I wish CP would stop sending the “Iknow things and I smoke cigars” flags. I have three of them. 🤣
I think it's because I was never on a cigar forum. All I knew was what friends smoked or recommended. This place has made me aware of how much bigger the cigar world is than I ever imagined.
Anyway, a fiver of 3000 and a gift box of 1964 Natural is inbound.
I may buy a Padron ashtray on...
Hahaha, I just ordered some last night. Back into sackcloth and ashes I go until I smoke one. Mea culpa!
I knew they were good, but the video got me off the schneid.
Edit: Good lord, looking at customer ratings, reviews, awards … how the hell did I miss this brand? Yikes!
