As far as I'm aware, no one has claimed that these cigars are real. Bruce is the only one who said anything in public, and all that he said was that no one has had a problem with his cigars, and that taste is subjective (paraphrased).
Agree 100% -- and then he should pursue Bruce for a refund from him.
Asking people who bought these cigars to get a refund from Bruce, when the cigars were bought from Allen, is unfair both to the people who bough the cigars, and also Bruce, imo.
If I bought something from Allen in the sale that Tim fronted... I'd expect a refund from the person I bought them from. Allen, in this case.
If Allen then has to take up the issues with whomever he purchased them from (Bruce, in this case), that's his problem to deal with, imo.
I don't think...
You see I've been through the bullshit on a pass with no shame,
It felt good to get in on the game.
In the mayhem you can remember your name,
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain.
Thank you for posting... I think that given that you are a victim as well, posting the contact information you have for AllenB in this thread would be useful, to give those who are aggrieved a channel to pursue for refunds.
If AllenB refuses refunds, and people complain, perhaps he can be added...
That being the case, I think if Tim posted "Sorry... here's the guy's contact info", I think that'd be reasonable.
Anyway, regarding how polluted the market is, I think there are a lot of these cigars out there. I doubt I'll be buying any of these brand cigars unless I know their exact pedigree.
I have to agree with this. Tim arranged the sale, the money went to him, the cigars came from him.
He should refund those who want refunds, in exchange for them returning the cigars to him in the same shape they were shipped to them.
It's then his problem to get reimbursed from the original...
I dunno, I've seen cases where the Scumbags List has been a raging hard-on of potency. While I understand that being added to the list is post-facto, in that the damage has already been done... the process of outing someone and putting them on the list really does have broad reaching...
Right... my comment wasn't directed at Jake at all. Just posting for clarity's sake for anyone else who might be reading that there is no Opus X Maduro Shark, and that some unscrupulous vendors have been selling them
