This an Italian news coverage of their HIH which is like the US NIH. Read it. It's obviously not an editorial. This is the equivalent of our surgeon general, but in Italy, saying his own government is overreacting, in so many words.
"Rome, 13 Mar 19:12 - (Agenzia Nova) - There may be only two people who died from coronavirus in Italy, who did not present other pathologies. This is what emerges from the medical records examined so far by the Higher Institute of Health, according to what was reported by the President of the...
This is a cold. Many have had and didn't even know they were sick. They we're asymptomatic. Only the already ill will have trouble with it just like the 22,000 who died from the flu during the 2019-20 season.
If this idiocy keeps up the response to this non-existent problem could kill millions...
In addition to the biological virus, we have an ideological virus, too. We have, as a nation, been indoctrinated to obey authority. Even to blindly believe authority.
You control your mind unless you give that responsibility up. You own your body unless you relinquish that ownership.
I went deep in the cellar and found the last couple of ozs. of Penzance I had left from a pound bought 12 yrs ago. Very smooth and a pleasant payoff. Wonder what else is down there? :)
Reminds me of an old expression, "Too stupid for words." At worst, this is a virus. People die from them when their immune system is compromised by poor diet, other illness, or old age. The normal flu strains are a much higher risk AND the cold season is winding up.
The reaction by government...
My mistake. I found the link on CP but it was to an eherf review that 404s now. Lost forever. It was pretty funny riffing on messing with his cousin on the roof in between backwoods and moonshine, etc.
Edit to add: Eherf was one of the cigar forums that got bought and they offered Rod some...
This review reminds me a bit of the Backwoods review here several years ago. ( Noob research assignment?)
You hung in there longer that I did, so, kudos for endurance! ;)
I recently tried one of these while visiting in Tucson. My brother was a bit insulted when I put it down after one puff...
Warmer here in the Mid-Atlantic so I took advantage. Apparently Oscar decided Marlo Thomas wig would be a good branding idea? :) The Tabernacle was excellent, Imo.
Prayers are sent. I just had a close friend die, at 73, from complications from Alcoholism. I pray your brother finds his "higher power". People confuse this idea with religious ideology. It's closer to American indigenous belief of a spirit guide.
Good Joss to you all.
I have a problem with paying more for the same cigar. I do throw a few bucks to one of the better B&Ms here, though. They have some nice aged clearance cigars and are better than most other shops in my area on most prices.
So if they bilked you will you "Correct" them?
It's a beautiful pipe. Does it smoke to your liking? If so, you might just consider keeping it.
That being said, those blemishes are unlike anything I have seen. But Peterson should be able and willing to inform you and maybe do a bit of positive customer relations. ;)
Aganorsa's Terence Reilly and Co? I guess I'll meet them Saturday. The manager of the shop, Luis, is fairly young and seems like an avid fan of cigars, too.
Stop by if you're in the neighborhood. Near State Line Liquors, too. :)
Starts at 4pm this Saturday. Small but comfortable lounge that seats about ten. My only concern is that too many will show up for it but it's a new local lounge. I figured I'd drop by to see how it goes and figured I'd see...
