@CigSid I understand they can take some time to lower down, these 9 have been in there for a week and are reading 65.8% on a calibrated hygrometer which then would mean they are not ready to smoke. Which makes me wonder if I shoukd start using an old cigar box.

So I have been having an issue with my dry box not wanting to get down to the 60-62% range has been wanting to stay in the 65% range with a 62% boveda in a tuppedor, should I try an empty cigar box?

@CigSid I know you like Heartfelt beads and since Boveda goes from 62% then down to 58% do you know of any other good beads since it seems like heartfelt does not do 60% beads anymore

@CigSid will it take longer to drop humidity with a tuppedor dry box since it is air tight?

I know this thread has been goung for awhile. I am new to the while concept of dry boxing. And am going to give it a try due to some recent issues with a few sticks. Can I dry box with a tuppedor that has a 62% boveda or would it be better to use an empty cigar box with the boveda in it?
