    Today's Smoke 2025

Round of golf with a good friend, buffet dinner, glass of Australian Shiraz, 2025 Amazon Basin. A very good day.

    Soda Pairings

I like a Coca Cola with most cigars. That said, my favorite non alcoholic pairing is an Arnold Palmer Iced Tea / Lemonade by Arizona. I have not found a single stick that this pairing does not work well with. There is a permeant box of these in my fridge.

    Affordable Humidor/Tupperdor Setup

I was just looking at this. Seems like a pretty good option.

    Affordable Humidor/Tupperdor Setup

Definitely fits the bill but I'd like to have something with some trays or dividers just so I can have some semblance of organization.

    Affordable Humidor/Tupperdor Setup

Hi Guys, I'm at the point where I need to update my cigar storage to make room for new sticks. I'd like to find something that can hold about 80-100 cigars and hold humidity. It really doesn't matter to me if it is a humidor or tupperdor set up, but I would like to have some kind of a tray set...

    Where I Have Been...not a happy story

Yeah, this can happen to the best of us. Especially when trying to find a rarer or discontinued cigar that's been on our mind. Sorry to hear about this.

    Where I Have Been...not a happy story

Davidoff is a relatively accessible brand in the US. Were these very limited cigars where you were unable to go through a big box distributor to purchase?

    Recommend Some Fancy "Vacation" Cigars

Thanks for all the great thoughts. By "fancy", I don't really mean price tag or even rarity. Just some stuff that is a bit off the beaten path or not a typical buy at a b&m. I'm in a weird stage of the cigar journey where I have a wonderful local shop and can get access to a nice variety of...

Couple random questions on Boveda and cheap hygrometers

It's possible. 3% isn't a huge variance and probably close enough to the margin of error. In my experience, the easiest way to combat this issue is to throw a couple extra cigars into the humidor/tuppidor/mason jar. This usually lowers the RH a bit.

    Today's Smoke 2025

I had to be in the office to make a presentation at 9 AM on a Sunday so it was easy to justify a two cigar day after I finished up. The Julius Caeser is always a good smoke, especially in the shark vitola. The real surprise was the Foundation Charter Oak Pasquale though. Heaps of salted dark...

    Recommend Some Fancy "Vacation" Cigars

This is a fantastic suggestion -- thanks! I was being somewhat facetious with the word "fancy". I'm really just interested in learning what smokes folks enjoy on their vacations. My local b&m had some flying pig versions of the MUWATs last time that I was in. I will definitely stop by and pick...

    Recommend Some Fancy "Vacation" Cigars

Good call. I need to do some more research on these and try to get a sense of the blends. From what I've seen, almost every leaf of the cigar is "undisclosed" which makes it a bit tricky to order blind. Maybe the Byron 1850 No 1 (8 x 54) would make a good July 4th stick! 😅

    Recommend Some Fancy "Vacation" Cigars

Thank you. This is exactly the kind of recommendations I was keeping my fingers crossed for. I love the sound of the blend on the El Titan de Bronze -- right up my alley and added to cart. I've heard only wonderful things about the Viaje as well and will sleuth around for a single. The...

    Recommend Some Fancy "Vacation" Cigars

Hi All, I work kind of a weird job -- 10 months of mayhem and crazy hours in the office, and then two months of minimal work that can all be completed from home in the evenings. Unsurprisingly, I very much look forward to this two month hiatus and it keeps me going for the 10 month marathon...

    Rojas Havana Nights review thread

Thanks for this review. I've been wondering what these cigars were all about. Like you, I don't usually have a great time with Conn Shade. Looking forward to hearing about the Habano.
