Bet most of you didn't know he raced the Baja 1000 in the late 60's and early 70's. I remember seeing these rigs as a kid going by the Parnelli Jones Firestone shop in my hometown of Torrance a wee lad. That's where I got the Baja 1000 fever.

That Ed is something else. A few years back I was going through some bad stuff and that guy called me. We spoke for about half an hour and let me tell you he made me change my paradigm and really help me get through.
Just got home.We had a nice time remembering Jon, herfing, enjoying some nice beers, and even better company. Billy has a bunch of photos I'm sure he will post soon. It has been ages since Iv'e seen some of these guys. Too long.
