I personally don't have a problem with an envelope, a couple stamps and five minutes of my time every couple years to send them in and have them sharpened. I just appreciate good customer service and will always let others know when I receive it. But that's just me. :cool:
So after reading this thread last month I decided to send off the two Xikar cutter I had that were broken. Tossed them both in a padded envelope with my name on it and off they went. Looked in the mail today, almost two weeks later, and I find a padded envelope with two brand new cutters in it...
I guess if I had to chose between getting sprayed with bleach, ammonia, Pine Sol, vinegar or WD-40 or being BBQ'd, turned into a pie, spiked or being attacked with a blow gun, compound bow, BB gun, pellet gun ( with choice of hollow points or wad cutters ) or even a 12 ga shotgun. And last but...
ummmm...you can always bring them over here and I'll keep a good eye on them for ya. :whistling: The office stays at a cool 70 degrees 24/7. :cool:
ps...keep them out of the fridge. It will just dry them out.
I also placed an order from them after reading that thread. Soon after placing the order I received an email from them telling me the order had been received and that I needed to give them a call. Instead of calling them back I sent an email inquiring as to what was up. Never got a reply back...
Bought a box of ERDM Lunch Clubs and stuck them in the humi for a good year or so. Finally cracked them open and this is what I found. Luckily the infestation was isolated to this box. Lesson learned....open up your boxes before you tuck them away. ARG!!!!
