The the little humidifier that is attached to the lid looks like it should be real easy to convert to beads, I just need to find out if it can hold enough beads for the size of the jar. Oh Yeah, that exactly what my jar looks like to. :D I can't wait to burn one of these.

As long as not too much of the cap is cut off you should be fine. If you cut off too much cap the entire cigar will eventual come undone.

I haven't used any lighters with attached cutters. I would suspect the cutter isn't up to par with the better ones out there (Palio, Xicar, etc.) I would spend a little bit extra and get something high quality that will last you a long time. I know my Xicar and my Palio and my Dupont lighters...
