Generally, if I really enjoy the cigar, I will keep the band and make a few tiny notes on the back of it - date I smoked it - etc. I just recently picked up a leather bound journal that I am going to put some notes in for some cigars I smoke. I won't do it for every cigar, but if I enjoy the...
A fantastic review! I have to tell you, I love these little cigars! They never disappoint, and that ash always holds on! I see a box of these in my future soon! LOL
As others have noted, I would really stock up on the Casas, they are fantastic and much harder to get than the Hemi Maduros and Anejos, IMO. Now if they had DC lanceros, that would be a whole different story! Casa sells a great sampler with every size Casa Fuente for about $150 - that is for...
Well done!! I am so glad to see someone smoking and enjoying these fine cigars. Thanks for the great pictures and reviews. BTW, I didn't know there was a Casa Fuente Xikar - that is pretty sharp looking!
I notice they are selling the Stinky ashtray for $45 and list it as something like Deep Bowl Stainless Ashtray... you would think they would at least name it...pretty fishy. I assume the price increase is because of the exchange rate...
I know people who have done this and received their...
Yesterday was a good smoking day. I had the day off and it was just beautiful outside, so I forced myself to sit on the back patio, smoke cigars and read - it was rough! LOL
I started off the morning with a '98 Partagas Charlotte which was just fantastic. After lunch I moved on to a two-year...
Just to echo what others have saif - definintely invest in the right tools/equipment to properly store and maintain your cigars. When I started out years ago, I was in the same position. I had limited funds, and wanted to spend my money on cigars, rather than accessories but I bit the bullet...
I would vote for Boli RC or CoRo. With that list, you really can't go wrong though.
I think a lot of the decision would depend on the age of the cigars as well.
Yesterday it was a WOAM with a couple years on it - these never disappoint! Today will probably be a Davi Millennium PC or perhaps an AF Cuban Beli (to see if I should pick up a box of these). Hmm, or maybe it will be a VSG Illusion...Decision, decisions...LOL
I have been on a Padron kick lately. I just picked up a box of 2004 PAM Superiors and a recent release of PAM Principes. I cannot wait to try the Superiors! :D
I would recommend Padron 200 or Londres in Maduro, Fuente 858 Maduros or Naturals - hell for $125 you could get a box of Fuente Don Carlos #4 or Padron 6000 Maduros for a little less than that even!
