I finally was able to dive into some of Father John Misty's discography this past weekend. Took my smoke session to a great place. Highly reccomend is latest album "Mahashmashana"
I do have a brick and mortar in my town. While it has a pretty solid selection none of the employees I have encountered in there actually smoke cigars. The store is also a head shop, vape store, ect. They have a humidity controlled room in the back with smokes.
I've decided on smoking Foundation's Highclere Castle Edwardian in Robusto on the morning of my wedding day. I've read numerous reviews saying the pairing with a cup of coffee is unmatched. Plus Foundation made me a BOTL to begin with, so it seems right to me.
The sun is shining. I post up out in front of my appartment. A freshly brewed french press full of a delicious medium roast Highlander Grogg with a splash of french vannila creamer by Nut Pods. I'm listening to an NBA Podcast and I'm excited to enjoy this stick.
Smell test is full of wood...
I thought I would feel the same going into it but a good friend swears by Cormac as an author. It's effortless to read and the man has a way with prose that I have never read prior.
Currently reading The Road by Cormac McCarty. My first dip into Cormac's work and I'm quite impressed. Very unique style. No punctuation, no chapter breaks. Pairs great with a good smoke. Anyone read his work?
Smoking one of these this evening in Toro. I have previously tried the Mayflower Dawn from this line which has the CT Shade. It had it's moments but overall was slightly underwhelming. Hoping for more from this Habano. Has anyone tried this stick? Thoughts?
Oh yeah no we will not be smoking in our attire for the wedding by any means. And they will actually all have ample time to shower and brush and get all nice and clean lol
