We will actually have an ample amount of time. Wedding is at 4PM. The guys will be coming over to my place in the late morning to hang out for a while before we even have to start getting ready. So a 2 hour smoke is not off the table by any means.
User error on my gender selection lol. I am male, groomsmen indeed. Thanks for pointing that out. I should also clarify that out of the 7 groomsmen, 3 of them will actually sit down and enjoy a stick with me. The others don't really partake. The couple that will are just about as inexperienced...
Still fresh to the game so not neccesarily sure I have a favorite. However The Wise Man Maduro by Foundation was my first smoke and what got me hooked so I'd say I would consider that for sure. I'll look at some reviews on your suggestions.
Hey everyone! Getting married next month (May 2nd). Super excited and wanted to enjoy a smoke with my groomsmen the day of the wedding before we start to get ready and what not. I want something that will pair with a good quality cup of coffee (or two). Just looking for suggestions on a good...
Great suggestions sir. I have been wanting to dive into more of the Foundation portfolio as the first cigar I smoked was The Wise Man Maduro and it got me into this world. I have heard great things about both the Aksum and Olmec.
Yeah that's really what I was doing with this review too. Obviously I had a lot in there about flavor and aromatics. But the main point was to kind get the vibe of the experience across and tell the story. Because we all know its more than just the smokes, it's the entire moment.
Haven just started with the sport of cigar smoking, what I have done is just keep track of all my aromatic/tasting notes in my head then once I'm finished with the cigar get it all jotted down before I forget. Because I would agree, writing down notes during the smoke could be distracting for some.
Unfortunately my brick and mortar just sells, no lounge. I have actually primarily been ordering online for my smokes so far. Cigars Daily has been the go to since I'm just buying singles to sample. But recently found Fox Cigars as well and really like their selection.
Just an observation here, doesn't seem like there alot of new reviews on here from 2025. Pages upon pages of old reviews. Is this part of the forum not super active?
