For now this doesn't seem too relevant for us. This will only affect people going to Cuba and bringing cigars back. They still haven't loosened the travel restrictions to the point that leisure trips are allowed. I think we're still a ways off from Holts selling COROs.
I just noticed I missed my 6 year anniversary here by a bit over a month! I don't post or visit as much as I used to, but even still this forum and the people who inhabit it have made a large and lasting impression on my life. Thanks for letting me stick around this long!
I can't really say welcome back as I've been away a long time as well. Regardless, wonderful post with a lot of sentiments that I share. Hope to see more of you on the boards!
What about moving the threads about their passing into a subforum - that way people could read over the memories others have posted and people who maybe missed the thread when it was posted can add their thoughts.
Thank you Brent and Gary for putting into text what I imagine a lot of us have been feeling. I've been thinking since yesterday of the first and only time I met Jon at the Outlaw. How approachable he was, how nice he was. All the jokes we told - the marshmallow salad and the lighter Brent bought...
This goes the same for people going through a hard time - reach out to your friends and family, let them know when you need them because they won't always know.
Just saw this on Facebook and I'm crushed by the news. Jon was one of the first friends I made here and I can't believe he's gone now. RIP brother, you will be missed.
