I think you will end up needing more beads. I started with 1.5 lbs. in my Vinotemp (which broke down after a year, bought another brand), and ended up kicking it up to 2 lbs. of beads. The RH is more stable throughout the unit now.
If you are in Mass. you shouldn't have a condensation...
A search will turn up a mountain of information, reviews, opinions, etc. on the heartfelt beads. And you'll be hard pressed to find any negative feedback on them. They work great.
I've never heard of this either. But now that i think about it, after I punch the cap, I do moisten the cap area a bit. I don't lick it but I just roll it a bit on the inside of my lips, and it's usually so my lips don't stick to the dry wrapper as I'm smoking it and tear the thing lol.
Great job! And nice smoke! I played some hold em last night myself with some friends. Lost 10 bucks... damn! A far cry from the WSOP but still was a lot of fun.
If you don't want it to become a "habit"... you are for sure hanging out in the wrong community! :sign:
When I first started smoking cigars I smoked about 1 a week. I joined up here and that turned into about 2-3 a week.
Now I'm 1 per day, occasionally skipping a day, occasionally doing...
Resistance is futile!
Funny how I was looking in the Wine-o-dor last night thinking I'm out of Padron 2000's. Looks like I'll be senbding a PM here shortly  :whistling:
If I were you and lived in such a climate, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a thermo-electric wine cooler. (Vinotemp is one, but hard to find these days, but you can find them on amazon.. Edgestar... and others). Set the temp for 66 degrees or so and stick your cigars in there with some...
Excellent movie. Saw it twice and think it was done very well. Love how Fincher made it dark. It could easily have been very bad... but it was one of my favorites of the year. I highly recommend it to everybody.
I haven't had most of the sticks on this list. I haven't had the Viaje but I've smoked other Viaje's... the ones that weren't plugged were very good.
That Padron 45 is an amazing cigar, glad I was able to try one. Because of the price tag though I think that will be the only one.
Now, being...
Walking in to a B&M and finding those for $15 is pretty much par for the course and I'd pay that easily. You've traded $5 (x3) for leg work... time spent searching and researching... shipping... waiting... calling... emailing... etc. for the luxury of walking in to a shop, throwing down some...
I used to cut them all the time. Then I found the Swiss Army Knife with a three size punch in it. Now I punch everything... I just find that i get a much cleaner break with a punch, and it's less likely to unravel or shred off at the cap. But for torpedo types, I have a Palio that I use to...
.LIke they've said it's a matter of opinion. But I'll take a Tatuaje brown band over em all lately.
The Illusiones are fantastic smokes. But the flavor is so unique that I had to give them a break for a while... think I over did it!
Most of the Viaje's I've smoked have been very good as...
What he said, heh.
A very nice start... this time next year you'll be stacking some boxes in your coolerdor ;)
It looks like you've taken a liking to maduro smokes. Especially the Serie V... that's one of my favorites.
I think you'd love Tatuaje... brown or red labels. Don Pepin black or...
