Thanks for the link but I don't think this is a 1903 LE. All of the searches I do show "1903" on the wrapper and it is not on this stick. So here liesthe problem. The only thing on this wrapper is the name "LaAuroro" and "maduro". Jonesy what do you think?

Springfield does make a great line of well built and easy to use weapons. I also am a .45 fanatic but since your wife will also be shooting the same weapon I would say go with the Sprinfield EMP .40. Very accurate for a 3".
