Thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately, since I have no experience with electrics, aside from grabbing an electric fence upon the dare of my older brother, it may be a lot better for my wife and children if I seek help from vinotemp or a seasoned professional.
But seriously, thank you for...
I'm not sure how or when it started this exactly. I noticed it during the winter and I had to take a bunch of my smokes out of it because it wouldn't hold humidity.
I suppose I should contact Vinotemp, but if there's anything I can do to kick it back into shape, would love to hear any advice.
Hey Jimmyhaze-- I have the same problem with my dual zone vinotemp. I'm reasonably sure it's not a power outage thing. Otherwise wouldn't the top zone be at 58 or 59 as well?
Sorry.... Forgot to post my wish list. in no particular order:

I'm convinced that the product coming from cbid is subpar compared to what you can get from vendors here on the forum (or standard non auction purchases). Bad storage or seconds wrapped up in normal packaging... I don't know. It could be just perception, but I have purchased quite a few boxes...
Just a note to add that it sounds like I started out just like you. I tried some Tats and just tasted strong tobacco. Thought it was me and my taste buds that were mistaken. Since hen I am a certified Tat and Pepin whore. Blacks are a stable for me -- loved the robusto from the first I tried it...
No need to apologize, my friend. Sometimes cigars just suck. Me -- I'm the type of guy who throws a stick away if I don't like it. Life's too damn short. I took no offense, and don't believe any was made.
Sorry to see this didn't give you much flavor, Tom. Luck of the draw I think. I had quite a few from this box of SLR regios that tasted great -- earthy and chewy with some of that stewed fruit folks talk about. But like you I've had a couple that just didn't taste like anything. Sorry that you...
I've smoked a lot of these as well and can say that the robusto can be an amazing smoke. Never had much luck with the JJ, but the black robusto is a strong performer. Lots of flavor, decent price. Compares favorably with the Tatuaje line IMO.
Have to apologize for my delay in getting this review done, but I also have to say I'm glad I waited because it was a perfect day for sitting down in the back yard to do a blind review.
Early in the afternoon, my family and I took a nice walk through the neighborhood. We heard that the city of...
While visiting family in Europe back in 2007, my wife and I took a mini vacation to Budapest. It was in December so very cold, but we had a great time. The hotel we stayed in had a jazz bar and served Habanos. I didn't know a damn thing about cigars or scotch at the time (pre cigar pass days for...
Just wanted to be transparent here and let everyone know I'm lagging on sending my package out to Thomas.
No excuses, have just been busy and a little overworked and will definitely get these sticks out by Monday. I apologize for my delay in both shipping and reviewing my blind stick. Will...
