I just gagged down a Romeo y Julieta

Years ago I really liked this brand. I had purchased a "Churchill" about a year ago and stuck it in the bottom of my humidor and forgot about it. I've been smoking what I consider a bit more of a "premium" line i.e. Padron Anniversary, Fuente Hemingway, Ashton and AVO. This thing was a...

    How often do you smoke?

It varies too much to really pin it down but.... On a good week, 1 a day. Same on the weekend. I never smoke more than 1 a day. I will also go through a dry spell of 1 to 3 weeks with nothing at all. It just depends if the mood strikes me.

    Cedar lined foot locker

Thanks for the info! I'm aware of the cooler route but I would like something that could double as possible furniture without breaking the bank.

    Cedar lined foot locker

I'm looking to increase my storage capacity and was looking at larger humidors (500+ Count) but some of the prices are more than I'd really care to pay. I was looking at my dad's old cedar foot locker out in the garage and it hit me. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this before or...

First Humidor & A Quest Begins

I like it! I've always wanted to pickup a nice old silverware box and do the same thing to it. It seems you can pickup old empty wooden silverware boxes at thrift stores all the time.

H Upman vintage cameroon robusto @CI

I've never had one. How are they? I'm mostly a Padron / Fuente / AVO man.

Wedding and or bachelor party cigars.

You may also want to think about a small format cigar. Nothing worse than buying a huge 7 x 52 cigar and watching everyone put them down after an inch or two.

    Winston Churchill Chequers by Davidoff

I always keep a couple in my humi. If it wasn't for the price I'd probably keep more. I really enjoy them.

    Esencia Cigar **NEW**

Exactly. My dad is the same kind of guy. He looks like a slob (I say that lovingly) but is what I would consider well off. He went to a Cadillac dealership one day and he couldn't get anyone to take care of him. So he went down the block and bought an Oldsmobile. 1 check, 1 car, end of...

    Padron Serie 1926, No 9

I love any of the Serie 1926. Sometimes I wish you could eat them! They're actually my #1 smoke right now.

    When trying a new cigar...

I'll usually get a churchill. I always try to go into a new smoke open minded but I'm also afraid of getting a dud. Sometimes if it's a big $$ item I'll start of with a small smoke just to get an idea of what I might be able to expect. If I like what I taste I'll go back and pickup a churchill.

    My Humidor warped !

So I'm supposed to take the ice and beer out before putting the cigars in? D'oh! That explains why I can't keep the damn things lit,

    Bank account hacked

That's the reason I have a separate account for online transactions only. I transfer money into it when I need it. Other than then it just sits there with a couple of dollars in it. Sorry about your loss.

Supply of Cigars/ My First Contest! - Contest Done

Without counting I'd say about 50 or 60. That's about normal for me. I rotate them a lot. I'll smoke about 5 or 10 and then go out and refill.
