Personal opinion here because I've never done any of the cigar versions of these, but I have done others. While once in a while you do tend to get a gem, most of it is just stuff you'd never buy yourself... why not spend that money on what you know you like instead of wasting it on sticks that...
Garrison Tobacco Warfighter 7.62... a cigar gifted to me by a good friend a while back... laid fire to it today... this makes another that I don't really plan to revisit...
This one was a toro as well... I didn't find any of the nougat notes some have reported, the tobacco flavor was heavy throughout and some leather notes in the first third and very little in the second third. Construction on it was great, created a nice marshmallow ash and it burned razor sharp...
Rocky Patel Vintage 2003 Cameroon - pretty disappointing as I like most offerings from RP, but this one was pretty one dimensional throughout - heavy on the tobacco flavor with very few hints of leather intermingled. I'm not sure if this one would be worth revisiting at another time...
Awesome, I read through last year's thread... I'll take 2 spots... I might need some coaching on a few of the rules and help with what is used for cigar value around here... willing to do what is needed to interact and be a valued part of the community though...
I have been reading and rereading this thread for what seems like days. I have really enjoyed all of these so far and hope to take part in this some once I am more vetted around here.
USPS has gotten terrible... my wife and father in law both have worked for them. They now have less workers than ever and charge more for postage and services than ever. They also basically no longer wish to have career employees, they want part timers that they can give less benefits to and pay...
