I hope you enjoy. The Wife and I used this as our go to celebrating bottle back when she was The Girlfriend. At the time, she didn't care for most Champagnes but this was light and sweet enough for her.
Have you known of anyone getting busted on this? For a while I stopped using my cell phone on weekly trips to CT, only to have the person I was meeting with laugh at me. After a couple of months I started putting my cell phone back up to my ear and see plenty of CT drivers doing the same on 91...
My favorite NV Champagne, is Moet & Chandon Nectar Imperial. Definitely a lighter, sweeter champagne. It is widely available and I believe a bottle runs me around $34 here in Massachusetts.
Although, I think your celebration calls for a vintage champagne. I just picked up a bottle of Perrier...
Not bad at all. I was impressed with the list of products Sidney Frank has imported and introduced to the U.S. market. Do you have any idea what other rum lines this distillery might be producing from the family owned, 80-years, on Barbados clue in the marketing copy?
I saw a couple of ads for Tommy Bahama rum in the latest Wine Spectator. Anyone have further info on who the distiller is? It will be interesting to see if this is going to be a $40-50 rum, or a $10-20 rum in a $40-50 bottle. Either way, I will guarantee that it carries a premium as far as rum...
