I say send them to Zeebra. He just got put on a really shitty project at work, has to commute 1.5 hours each way and is dealing with a ton of stress ... he could use some nice strong smokes :) :)
Also, he is gonna be a Dad for the second time in November and probably needs some nice smokes to...
I think the reality is... no matter how highly regarded a brand is, it's definitely not for everybody.
That said, I've smoked a lot of Padrons and can't say I've had many construction issues... maybe 1 or 2 in total.
Nice review ... these tend to have a lot more Nicoteen than most other Habanos ... probably whats causes them to be very full and spicy ... not my favorite either.
same with me Wurm, my first was the RyJ Belvedere and these are still my favorites (when aged)

I believe you won't be disappointed in the DP Black label either.
I also find the smaller rings tend to age faster than the monster rings ... especially with the Cuban cigars. Has anyone else experienced this, or the opposite?
Does anyone else get peeved when new cigars, or new lines/brands of cigars come out and only larger sizes are offered?
