Missus - "So now that you're on a restricted diet you're going to smoke 2 cigars a day?"
Me:
112 years old and skinny - you pick!
Victor Sinclair Don Rafael - decent cheapo stick.
Went on a medically supervised weight loss program yesterday. Thank doG they didn't say anything about cigars (no hooch though)
Diesel Rage - a little peppery for me, but I don't know unless I try... amiright?
Those are Bendix - they're cast stronger than "regular" drums. Got those from the Amazon scratch & dent department - a whole $4/ea! I used them for my bench grinder and anvil stands - holding up great.
That is so far beyond my level it ain't even funny. The detail in the head alone - I can only dream to have that much vision to put it together.
I do have about 50ft of different sized roller chain though..... :-)
Try walking with 'em...
Give me a week or two - couple little projects to square away. I'll put something together and see what you think.
On the glass table - the glass is just held on with cam caps so it's removable. There's a steel plate under it centered on the camshaft. It'd be a little...
Discarded steel grinding balls from a ball mill at a copper mine. That bucket weighs about 300lbs. The spikes - no idea - come from the same place but haven't found anyone that can tell me what they are. I'm using them as bicks for metal forming.

Or rough and tumble (rat-roddish)?
Vehicle parts: yeah, no, eh.
Ashtray only or drink stand also?
Height?
Abstract or recognizable parts?
Wanna really go nuts? I got a genuine fire hydrant lol:
The one in my...
A rare weekday morning, temperatures back into the 70's (early morning anyways), coffee, and a simple cigar. Watching the dog roll carefree around in the grass.
Life is good this am.
One piece at a time lol. Pounded a 3ft length of rebar through a hole in the plate and welded them together. I made hidden connections with nutserts, tabs, and male/female vertical posts - then tack welded them together. The wings fit into tabs and are screwed on after the eagle is stacked...
TSA will juuuuust love the poker and torch lighter. So much so they'll keep it for themselves.
Just a heads up to the peasants or those who's private jets are in the shop for an oil change.
Should be right at 8ft tall when it's done. Weight - probably 250lbs +/- a few. 50lbs per spirit and the base plate weighs 50lbs by itself. Depending on how stable it is when finished, I can fill the bottom one with sand for another 150lbs of ballast. I don't think it will need it, but...
