Tried one of John's new EL Reina's a couple of nights ago. I smoke a pretty regular rotation of the EL's, and this one definitely stands out on its own...lighter in body with plenty of flavor. The telltale funky cheesy twang is there, but a whole lot of what my tastebuds tell me is "floral...
Just wanted to follow up after the trip for future Disney cigar enthusiasts. I didn't have any trouble enjoying a leisurely evening smoke at Port Orleans Riverside. They even sell cigars in the general store (nothing great, but all tubes which is smart of someone).
We were staying in the...
Holy shit, a designated smoking area right outside our room at Disney Port Orleans. Should have packed more smokes, this place taxes your spirit. Amazing, but tiring.
You can sign up at www.cigardrop.club.com for free. They will email either an offer to purchase that round of cigars or let you go on the waitlist. First batch was $125 for 10 cigars, next one will be in May.
Got these in the mail today from Warped, they've got a new club called DROP that will offer small releases Kyle blends at El Titan de Bronze every few months. Corona gordas for this run, and I wish I had saved the blend info because apparently once they are gone so is the info on the website.
Lol, oh yes...when I was introducing a buddy of mine to cigars, I don't know how many times he cut and lit the wrong ends of a short story. Fun to watch the first couple of times before the shaming began.
Finally tried the first Illusione Singulare Turin from the box. The richness is way more on the Annunaki side vs the Misereres which I thought were too light bodied. These still need some time, too much of a sharp ammonia punch in the nostrils. Lots of potential, will revisit in a year or so.
Good mail day....boxes of Picadores from Feb 17, Illusione Phantoms Sep 17, and Illusione H-Town Lanceros Sep 18. I am embarassed to admit that the additional release of those lanceros somehow escaped my radar and I thought it was a site glitch when I ordered. I'm so glad I can just smoke the...
Man, I hope that is the case....I kept an eye on it for months when it was "call for availability", but there was no availability. Didn't realize they'd make more. They are just maximum Illusione for me.
I am assuming it's a glitch on their website, but Stogies World Class Cigars shows the Illusione H-Town Lanceros as in-stock and allowed me to add to my cart, purchase, and send me a confirmation. I wouldn't be so suspicious, but they also show the Roma Craft Neanderthal lancero in stock as...
I forgot the best part of going on a cruise to the Caribbean and Mexico- I hear you can buy Cubans from vendors right there on the docks. Genuine Habanos as far as the eye can see.
I'll definitely research cruises if I'm not in an asylum after WDW. Another obvious cost advantage would have to be food. Between a couple of character meals, dinners at Disney Springs, etc. it could easily be close to another grand. I did schedule a grocery delivery that will take care of all...
That's really good to know. Never been on a cruise, and if we're not huge fans of the WDW experience we may try a cruise in a couple years. Definitely not Disney though....trapped on a boat with mouse fans would be too much.
Disclaimer- I know I'm going to be too lazy to even take an Uber over to Corona Cigar Sand Lake, so with that said: Going to be at Disney Port Orleans Riverside for a week next month for our first ever WDW experience as a surprise for our six year old daughter. I know, a European vacation...
