Yep, those are the bands. Goofy fonts and all. The boxes were square 5x5 cabs with plexi tops and angled "seals". I don't remember the shop's name, they have more bongs and samurai swords than anything else. It's on 81st Avenue and Bell.

I actually got to thinking about this from the Newbie blind taste test where the entire tip of a xXx was cut off. I always think about it when cutting an Oliva torp or a xXx, the part you cut off is just too cool not to do something with. I thought about the pipe thing too, sounds like that...

My local B&M has a basket for the end caps, it looks pretty cool with a pile of caps in it. I got to thinking, say you smoked a bunch of OpusX. What if you saved what filler is in the caps, and roll yourself a short filler OpusX cigar?

Wow, I used to buy from Cigar Warehouse all the time, until my tastes improved. They sell mostly cheaper end cigars and knock-offs. I will no longer buy from any company that does knock-offs. "Padron Alternative!", etc. That's why I won't buy from JR Cigars. I hate thieves trying to cash in on...
