A close friend of mine who owns a B&M in Miami and who is a large Padron retailer explained the 50th release. There are three versions.
1) Family Reserve 50th, Robusto size, as shown in Madurotrouts post, $25 MSRP
2) 50th Anniversary limited release, toro size, as shown in Famous Smokes post...
Lol...I've got two of the 5x50 in my singles drawer I have yet to try. Every time I considered firing one up I think I should have a little bit more food in my system. I've heard good things about them. Maybe I'll stop wussing around a burn one. Enjoy.
Prices just released
The Montecristo Añejados is a Churchill 47 x 178mm. The price for a box of 25 cigars is 527,50 euro.
The Romeo y Julieta Añejados is a Piramides 52 x 156mm. The price for a box of 25 cigars is 432,50 euro.
I've looked forward to this thread for the past couple of years to really get a good idea of what is worth trying as there is no apparent better judge than this forum's collective experience.
Here is my two cents for what it is worth. Humbly (very humbly) submitted for your review they are:

If you haven't already purchased them don't. PM me your address. I have 3 left from a 5'er I purchased about 4-5 months ago. It cost me nothing to ship from my office and I need the room in my singles drawer. I smoked a couple and they were just "OK" but I'm sure the last three will sit there...
I'm always interested in a Central/South Florida herf. I'm a Disney annual pass holder and have never even tried to smoke a stick anywhere on their property. I assumed they would banish you for life if someone complained about cigar smoke. Good to know there is some places you can still relax at...
Your going to crap when you see Corona Cigar Company. Three locations and all great places to have a stick. Cigars @ Universal City Walk and Sosa Cigars @ downtown Disney don't come close to Corona IMO.
In my previous life, I spent 15 years in the auto & property insurance industry. I can tell you with certainty that insuring these under a standardized home owners policy such as those offered by State Farm, Allstate, etc, probably won't happen. Most major carriers including the one I worked for...

"Habanos s.a. introduces for the first time two new launchings of Habanos Añejados. Habanos already rolled, aged in Cuba for 5 years or more, in perfect conditions of preservation, which has enabled them to gain shades and complexity without losing...
Padron's headquartered in the Little Havana district of Miami.
The address is 1575 SW 1st street, Miami 33135
It is a great stop for any Padron fan. It's basically their administrative offices and distribution center, but more importantly they have all their history there for you to see, it's...
What was your take? I've gone through four of these in Maduro and as a big Padron fan felt the flavor profile was too "timid" and "neutral". Just wanted to see someone else's thoughts. Have a good holidays.
---Glad to read your post,. I've got a couple of RASS 2013 boxes I'm curious to try to see where they are in thier evolution. Smoking one this week to get me a starting point based on your comment.
I would wish your Noles good luck into the playoffs, but I'm a die hard Cane fan so scratch that...
