One of my favorite cigars (especially the 2000 release when I can bring myself to smoke one). When looking for a cost effective replacement I reach for a Cuban Beli SG. Darn near an equal to the 858SG experience when they have a few years on them........ and ~1/2 the price given the 858SG market.
Nice review. While a great cigar I have to place the #50 at the bottom of my Anejo list. Smoking mostly the 46 as of late but never pass up a 55 or 77.
Mostly cosmetic from what I see. I don't see why you would have any problems if you make sure there are no loose splinters to snag something. As far as the wood can't make any determination from the photo given.
Those are highly paid cigar models and not for smoking. They are fed a special diet, have personal trainers and hang out the tanning parlor. :rolleyes:
