    Grab Bag Sales

Respectfully, in my opinion it is important to distinguish between atuck's blind grab bag method, and samplers that are simply unlisted but chosen carefully by the person making the offer. Some people on this thread may not be familiar with the scenario in question, in which a large stock of...

    Happy Birthday CaptJ!

I'm late to the party it seems, but still had to stop in and wish a true gentleman a belated happy birthday. I'm glad you had a nice time.

    Different taste/same type

That's why I wish they'd make a Diamond Crown lancero, it might actually be worth $18 or whatever they charge.

    Different taste/same type

Do you remember what Wilkey's secret small cigar draw technique was? I've always wondered, though I've been using Mad Monk's triple draw for a while now with good results.

    Really nice transition

Glad to hear that you are doing better. Chronic sinus infections are pretty difficult to overcome. It sounds like you are on the right track as far as recovery and not overdoing it though.

    Next Question: Favorite Lighter

Yeah exactly, I might not light a premium that way (then again... I might), but it could jazz up a daily smoker.

    Next Question: Favorite Lighter

I found this comment when researching the issue just now: That sounds kind of dangerous, but interesting.

    Next Question: Favorite Lighter

I have a question about this. I've been using the 'light before cut' (LBC) method for the past few months with great results. The zippo soft flame is one of the best soft flame profiles out there, with the added advantage of being cheap, stylish, and able to remain lit almost indefinitely...

Favorite budget stick (#1 in your stash)

One smoke that isn't very expensive that I don't consider a compromise is the Fuente Magnum R 54, they are obtainable under $7 and are top notch in my book.

Depends on your definition of budget. As BBS said if you're spending close to $10 per stick you don't have to compromise (much). Daily smokers are usually considered to be in the $4-7 range, but you can beat those prices at times. Buena Vista coronas are currently available at $2 a pop for example.

    Cellos on or off?

From memory: "Everything in boxes I leave it as it comes. Everything in my desktop humidor is unwrapped. "I'm not asking for advice. I am curious what you guys do."

Someone should sticky a representative cello thread in the cigar forum.

    Bachelor Party Smokes

My impression is MNBrian is a younger cat. Giving your friends the business is a part of growing up, let's not forget that. I don't enjoy puking and smoking either, though there was that one time I had a shark for breakfast...

    Bachelor Party Smokes

You can also do damage with the right VSG, assuming his tolerance is not that high. I'm thinking torpedo and spellbound. Both very enjoyable smokes that get progressively stronger.
