I didn't have a chance to get to know him, but I'm so very sorry for his family's loss, as well as the loss of an obviously beloved member of this community. My prayers go out to all who knew and loved him.
I know what you mean. My father-in-law has a garage full of NOS GM Corvette parts that he's had in storage for 30-40 years, mostly for 60s and 70s era Corvettes. We had an NOS set of 1965-1967 Side Exhaust Covers that we sold on eBay for almost $900, and made the mistake of shipping them USPS...

Holy shit! Is that a bobcat? We don't have anything like that around our house, since we live kind of in the burbs, but my wife has seen a coyote wandering through the yard a few times in broad daylight. They're getting bolder and bolder. Thank God we don't let our cat outside.
