I have purchased cigars from him before with no problem,
but never ISOM's. My suspicions stem more from my lack
of knowlege of the item in hand than lack of trust. He e-mailed
me back saying the code on the bottom of the box was :
EOG FEB04
Sound right ?
Ooooh fancy !
I assume AVB's calling you a pimp refers to Gen. George Patton's
quote, "Only a pimp in a New Orleans wh**ehouse would have a
pearl handles" (paraphased). ;)
I'm more of a fiddleback walnut guy myself, but this is a good lookin'
gun ! :D
Mike:
My package will include a Padron Anniv Mad Superior, Opus X Robusto,
Hemingway Maduro Masterpiece. Please let me know if I need to adjust ! :)
My computer at home is on the fritz, so I've been using the one at work
for CP. I work 6 am to 4 pm. I can hang out at work to use the computer...
After an awesome sushi dinner, finished 2004 with a San Cristobol El Principe
while sitting on the patio of the Blue Cafe in Long Beach, CA with friends. Started off 2005 with a PAM Superior and espresso martinis. Great combo ! ;)
Rod:
My newbie opinion is that it would be a valuable addition. I would NOT
want to do anything that would detract from the cigar emphasis of
this site. A separate forum would allow those who wish to participate
to do so without bothering the cigar-only smokers. Why not ? :D
To AVB, of course I like scotch ! Yes, "Springbank" refers to my favorite
(Lagavulin 16 yr old when I want something heavier). :D
To Golfgar, I like to hunt just about everything, but free time gets more scarce
every year. On weekends I go locally for quail and dove. I usually make it out
to...
CohibaSurfer ?
That depends; how many enemies would I make by admitting I know him ?
Of course, CS introduced me to this site and has taught me a lot about
cigars, coffee and good rum. I am honored to call Mike a friend. :)
I posted a cigar review yesterday as a way to introduce myself, but forgot
to say a formal "hello" in the Lobby (thanks for the reminder PSTAN !).
I live in central Cal and have smoked cigars and pipes for 22 years now.
I've been watching the site for a while and you folks have so much fun, I...
Rod:
I'm a newbie to CP, but I've been smoking pipes off and on for over twenty years. I smoke cigars more often becase they are quicker, easier and I love 'em. I
worked at a Tinder Box for two years while I was going to college and I started a pipe collection that has since taken over my...
I'm a newbie, so I thought I would introduce myself by posting a cigar review,
so here goes! :)
Nothing fancy here, just an every-day smoke. I picked up a five pack of the
Pardon Maduro Panatelas (7 x 36) the other day (it looked like five dark-brown pencils in the zip lock).
I've had...
Hey Joe:
That's a very nice offer . I'm a fellow newbie and have not
tried a Quintero before. I do have a few of the El Principes.
How's about a trade ? :)
