I'm just surprised you like 'em with their ears taped back. 'Course, since you're usually on the receiving end of things, I guess you got some pretty fierce earaches in yer time...so you learned to adapt by necessity. :sign:
Enjoy it. I have played rugby for decades and absolutely love it.
It's an awesome game though and don't think twice about your age. I've played with guys well into their 50s. Mind you, they were all toothless, completely psychotic and covered in "Business" and Stiff Little Fingers tatts, but...
My sentiments exactly. I have everything Steinbeck ever committed to paper (that's available). Hemingway too. Though, with Hemingway, I have always loved his short stories. When they finally compiled all the "Nick Adams" stories into one tome, I was in heaven. Up In Michigan, Big...
Your halo is the neon
Your heart a jukebox song
Your heaven is a honky tonk
You love to live so wrong.
I know your not a changin'
As a saint you've gained no fame

With the beautiful girl that I met, made in Japan
The beauty of her face was beyond my wildest dreams
Like cherry blossoms blooming in the...

I was waitin' to see if anyone was going to post this and, perhaps I missed it, but it appears to have gone unmentioned. So:
February 3, 1959. Buddy Holly, J.P. Richardson, Ritchie Valens. "The Winter Dance Party."
Holly had begun a solo tour with other notable performers, including Dion...
Ergo the "for what it's worth" caveat...not much in my estimation, but perhaps for someone else, it's the deal breaker. Context aside, one's reaction to things speaks volumes about their measure as a person and, regardless of the circumstances, some things in this life are simply inappropriate...
Indeed, though, from the sound of it, the guy (director of photography) walked into a scene while filming was taking place. Who knows how many times he did it. The spin is that this guy walked in on one of the most "emotional" scenes being filmed. Who knows.
But, for what it's worth, it...
