My gameplan for this year will be the same as every other year:
Be a good parent and husband, try and keep a positive attitude, always try and improve my families quality of living, get back into decent shap again, and smoke at least on OpusX this year.
Also it would have been nice to know in the beginning of the thread that you have 6 other humidors that I assume are either working properly or are imaginary. I think at this point I will go with the latter. Either way calibrate your hygro.
Another vote for the Exodus 1959 Gold, avoid the Silver they are not nearly as good. I also enjoy Casa Tarano, they are a mild smoke which I normally don't like but I find they are enjoyable in the morning with coffee.
Dedicated league bowler here. 205 average currently. There isn't much to do in the winter months in Western NY. Poker and bowling pretty much make most of free time this time of the year. Luckily my wife enjoys bowling as well so we are on a mixed doubles team together.
Sounds like a pretty cool idea, I have no idea if it will work or not one of the experienced members may have some suggestions. Good luck with it if it works!
Very true, Every time I visit a shop I have a pretty good idea of what I want beofre I go in. Then I get in there and can't make up my mind anymore. Then I end up spending far more money than I had originally planned on spending. Like a kid in a candy store.
I've been looking for takers all week, unfortunately were betting on the same side. Seminole fans aren't very optmistic about there chances in this one and for good reason.
Nice site! I plan to spend a bit more time there in particular on the BBQ tips. I hate to admit it and the machoness in me is having a tough time typing this sentence...I can't grill or BBQ worth Sh*t. The Beef Jerky looks and sounds fantastic!
When I first started smoking I used to like them, kinda grew out of them so to speak. I have some La Floridita Maduros that have been sitting for nearly a year I've been using them as "hand out smokes" looks like I'll have to try one again soon.
Welcome to the board Trever! Nice humi by the way, As JimK said, I would simply leave it open for a couple of days while it dries out a bit before starting the seasoning process.
I do most of my cigar smoking at the poker table in the winter months. In the spring and summer months I try and enjoy at least one cigar a day alone to reflect and relax.
