I'm not sure if I understand why someone would rank the pursuit of an advanced degree, only a Ph.D. in what I'll bet is an arcane discipline, ahead of real participation in this most august of cigar boards.

Those are very nice watches...take the thing to a reputable jeweler and have the works authenticated before you buy. A lot of fakes have precise exteriors (cases) but ersatz works.
But if you know and trust the seller, you should be home free. GL.
I used to smoke the Vega Talanga Blanco when it was a boxed cigar. There were other colors, too -- the Azul, the Rojo, and the Black band, IIRC. I liked the Blanco best (good burn, draw, and typical medium corojo profile), but I have sampled the bundled iteration of Blancos available at Cbid --...
I can't recall anyone, anywhere, saying anything bad about Punch Champions.
Winning fiver bids at Cbid (usually $15-$17) would bear out this shorty's popularity.
Compares mo' bettah to the Punch Magnum (5.25x54), which I think is bland.

Plume is barely visible sparkly crystalline beads practically embedded in the wrapper, not three-dimensional fuzz like dried shave cream. From my experience, plume occurs rarely...either I am consuming my sticks too quickly, or I am smoking cheap stuff which lacks the oil to generate...
I smoked my first (and last) Kuba Kuba last September; it was a gift to me from another smoker who loves them enough to buy them by the box (Good Lord)! That stick was the strangest cigar I've ever smoked -- not badly made and did have some good tobacco flavor, but who wants to taste all those...
