I actually took the time to smoke at the smokeshop yesterday. The owner is one of the nicest guys I know. He bought me a cup of coffee which perfectly complimented the A. Fuente Don Carlos #4 I was smoking. It made for a relaxing mid-morning.

Box is here and all appears well. Nice selection to choose from. :) I'll let the pass rest in my humidor until Monday.

My 2001 edition Perelman's lists them as still in production. If production has stopped, it stopped recently.

I let the cigar decide when it is ready to be ashed. After I've accumulated enough ash to get a good look at the cigar's construction, I will occassionally tap it gently while holding it over the ash tray. If it's ready, it drops.I find it humorous to watch the contortions some people will go...

I've only bought seconds from my smoke shop once. They cost twice as much as a bundle of JR Alts and weren't nearly as good. When I go looking for bargain smokes I look for JR Alts, El Credito, or Consuegra. All of these are excellent smokes for the dollar.(This is, of course, just my opinion.)
