Aging is a complex process which requires special attention. While all cigars show some degree of maturity from additional aging, not all cigars age well. A common misconception is that a cigar which was rolled with “new” tobacco will lose its bite and harshness through humidor aging. No amount...
Xikar stresses on their solution with their beads. Their PG solution is a 70/30 mix. They only offer a 70% set up. It's all working now.
I threw in about 10 more sticks, just in case. :whistling:

You all make valid points. I Just went by my local B&M and got some sticks. I've learned a lot chatting with some of the guys there. It is nice to be one first name basis. Walking in and being greeted by name is nice. The lady says it means I'm there to often, lol. I tell her its due to me...
So, where do you guys tend to buy your smokes? I'm still trying to find the best prices on sites. But I've decided to mostly buy online now. I love supporting some of the local guys, but it just gets expensive. I'd love to start ordering boxes or bundles do to saving money. I just don't have the...

I decide.
Thoughts and reasons?

Man, I'm still doing samplers. I just don't have the room for more, lol. I variety to much. It looks like a wine cooler might be in the plan soon.
You guys are horrible. They lady doesn't even try to talk me out of it any more.
-Gianni-
Well, yesterday was horrible. I'm not going to go on a long rant. I just hope things are fixed. I could pin point all of the problems. It's crazy that OU is out also. If MU wins the Big 12 Tournament. I'm sure I'll break something.

I like a cooler smoke and a tighter draw. I don't like the burn of just smoke. I feel if my RH is about 65% and lower, that's what I get. I like to keep it above 65% and below 72%. I've always payed attention to the details in anything I do. So, cigars is not exception.

I like to toast it. I then blow on the foot to see it burn red and make sure its even. There is nothing i hate more the uneven burns. I take the time to light, I normally don't have many uneven burns.

Just a quick example. My old roommate "by best friend" and I had a falling out about 3 weeks ago. It was to the point where the girls were quiet for hours due to the volume and things that were said. Well, We both have a one bedroom apartment now. Well, last night we had a few bourbon and cokes...
Well, I recharged my humidifier, calibrated my hygrometer and threw in a few more sticks. This morning it was sitting at 68% RH. :D Another day and I think I should be at a good 70%.
-Gianni-
It's a xikar digital. I cam home from work and is said 87%, not 97%. I guess I couldn't read through the double plastic bags. If the hygrometer goes above 89% is says -/-%. I held it down till it read 78%. I had another hygrometer in there too. It's about 5 off. It was reading 69%. I thew the...
