Well, Altadis may be able to say NOW that quality will go up, but when the embargo is lifted, the damand will be so high that quality has got to suffer somewhat.

Like with everything that has to do with taste, that is a dangerous question. My answer would be yes and no. I personally like my cigars strong and the Habanos have for the most part taken care of this for me. But, there are a lot of Nicaraguan and Honduran cigars that I would choose over...
When Castro finally becomes worm chow, and Cuba (hopefully) becomes free. Would the cigar companies still be state run or would they become private again? I think that would have some effect on the quality of their smokes.

Actually,I think if the embargo is lifted ISOM prices would go up for possibly 2-3 years (supply and demand). Then once the Cuban production catches up with the demand, prices will level off. Same thing that happened during the cigar boom.Question: Should China have been given the 2008 Olympics?

Padrons have also become one of my favorites. It's a cigar that I smoke regularly, now. From cigar to cigar they are consistent and consistently good. I do prefer the PAMs over the PANs. Although, I wouldn't turn down either.
