These are great, very complex, and I tasted intense fruit as well (I thought more cherry, then Raspberry)...They taste NOTHING like the normal Le Bijou blend, and that is a good thing... People are going to be sorry they missed these, I have a feeling... ~brooks

Yes, everything I have heard is that the "Diplomatic" cigars with the Palm Tree bands are NOT a different blend, but rather they look for the best examples of the vitola to put them on... Still....It IS a different band...lol!

Well, they are still OR, and honestly, I don't think they are even using the same wrapper (although I don't know that for sure)...They can release all the "New" 858SG and Rosados they want, and they taste almost nothing like the ORs... ~brooks

Rumor is that they will be releasing a limited number of boxes of the SSM (and perhaps the BSM as well) sometime this year...like 750 boxes or so, a la the recent 858SG and Hemmingway SG and Rosado... But who knows? ~brooks

The interesting thing is that when I called earlier to ask about them, and told them I was with a blog, they kinda freaked on me, and told me they did not have any left, had sold them all (and never confirmed they were "Opus X Shark Maduros")... I think it is clear these are at best rebanded...

I smoked a few :) It is interesting to me how Padron seems to be going the "Single Store" release way...Not only Holts, and Famous, but Smoke Inn is getting a stick at the end of March, as well as the release for Rocky Patel's "Burn Lounge"... None of the "Special Releases" I have smoked and...
