Wood is probably my favorite, followed by dank earth and leather tied for second.
One of the reasons I always buy everything in Tubos when possible is that the Cedar inside seems to impart some woody flavor compared to the non Tubos exact same cigar
Hopefully you just had a one-off dud and enjoy the rest of the box. It would suck being stuck with a whole box of Cigars you don't like.
One of the reasons I always buy multiple singles or 3,4 and 5 packs, especially of something new (although it does limit how many new ones I can try which...
Interesting. I have recently had a few 2020's and thought they were very good and plan to keep some in stock.
Too bad you didn't like them. Always sucks to get a disappointing cigar
I agree. The PSD4's I have been getting are 2020 also and they have been great.
Also have 6 PSD5's (never had any before) that I got as a free gift pack with my last 2 orders) that are January 2021 and am really hoping they are just as good.
I was stationed in San Diego for a year in the...
Montecristo Open Master
Very tasty and good draw, burn and construction.
Honestly don't see why the Open line is so universally disliked. I have enjoyed a number of the Masters and Regattas and they have been consistently good smokes in every regard.
My question is this: Is the same wrapper, binder and filler used in all cigars of a certain line (ie AF Hemingway, Padron thousand series, Monte No 1-5, etc)? It is my understanding that this is true.
Is it merely the ratio of wrapper to filler that determines its taste / rating / preference...
Got my second dose of the moderna vaccine on February 8th. No issues other than a mildly sore arm and some minor flu like symptoms after the second dose
Nice.
Have read lots of good responses on these on various forums, and they go out of stock quickly everywhere I look, so just ordered a few to try out.
Will be my first QDO.
H.Upmann Regalias
A bit pricier than the average petit Coronas, but very tasty and good draw, burn and construction.
The tin is a nice display item or pocket case though
Interesting read.
Thanks.
Although I only buy multiple singles or 3,4 and 5 packs, i will see if my usual vendor will select from some of the dates and factory codes in that post, note them in my inventory software and see if I can notice a difference
Do you feel that the particular factory a cigar was rolled in makes a real difference?
I have never really paid attention to the factory codes on anything I have ever smoked.
I saw someone in the cp/pif thread mention being able to list your favorite Cigars in your profile, but I can't seem to find a place for it looking at my profile sections.
Anyone able to tell me where it is in one's profile?
Thanks
My partying days are over, but will definitely enjoy the well aged Diplomaticos I was gifted for my late morning smoke, and a Cohiba Robusto, one of my all time favorite smokes, later in the afternoon.
That's plenty of celebrating for me, lol
