I'm happy that tomorrow is my birthday and I will be celebrating with an amazing aged Diplomaticos that I was gifted, and that the postal service found my missing order of cc's and it will be here soon
I love the Monte no.2. One of my all time favorites.
I bet with that much age it was incredible.
Never had one with more than 3 years age, and most only have 1 year. Still love them though
I keep my humidor and tupperdoors at 65% and have never felt the need to dry box any.
They all seem to smoke just fine except for the occasional plug or tight roll
Montecristo Petit Robusto
Very tasty and stronger than the typical Monte.
Great draw, burn and construction and lasted an hour even being so short.
Have really been working on slowing down my smoking pace and have been happy with smokes lasting significantly longer and tasting better too...
I used to love these about 10 years ago, which is the last time I had one. Would have to see if I still do since my palate has really changed over the years and I no longer enjoy many that I used to love, including Opus X
I unfortunately have pretty bad memory damage from a medication I used to take, so i can never remember much more than whether I liked something or not. Can never remember details, so it makes it harder to choose
I have been smoking cigars for about 15 years now and am still trying new ones regularly and only ever buy samplers, 3 singles or 3,4 or 5 packs so I always have a lot of variety which is nice but makes it difficult to choose one when I have about 40 different vitolas on hand, lol
Just curious how others decide what to smoke when its their time. I imagine most of us have a pretty large selection to choose from, and even with my relatively small one I often have trouble deciding.
H.Upmann Connoisseur No.1
Extremely tight draw for the first third even after using my Modus II.
Did finally open up a bit for the remainder thankfully.
Very tasty and good burn as usual.
An enjoyable smoke when the draw is good
Sorry for no pic, upload keeps failing
H.Upmann Magnum 54
My first of these
Very nice taste and excellent burn, draw and construction.
An all around enjoyable cigar
Curious how it will compare to the Magnum 50's I have also (have had mag 50's before but it was 10 years ago)
Sorry for the lack of picture. Upload keeps failing
RyJ Churchill.
1st half was very mild, too mild for my liking in fact. Picked up nicely in the second half, but not really interested in waiting 45 minutes to start enjoying a cigar, especially with plenty of other RyJ's I enjoy. Likely wont be buying these again.
