    Man Caves VS SAC'S

+1 Nothing is better than laying on a patio lounge chair sipping your beverage of choice and enjoying a nice smoke in your back yard/by the pool.

2-3 per week..........or at least one on the weekends! Training for an Ironman triathlon so trying to cut back.

    CA's Top 25 of 2010

All Brick House cigars currently are Nicaraguan puros (made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco) with a sungrown Havana Subido wrapper. I'm not sure who is rolling them but I ordered a box of the robusto's for $110.00 on back order and I plan on sitting on them for a couple years based entirely on...

Guide: How to salt test / calibrate your hygrometer

According to the President of Xikar, you can use either distilled water or PG when refilling the humidification device. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0qw6N3K2uI&playnext=1&list=PLCCD35148B73FA761 The folks at Thompson also recommend using solution with their gel jars. What beads are you...

Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro......I never get tired of this cigar! It has all the flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, earth, pepper that I love from long Nicaraguan fillers.

    CA's Top 25 of 2010

Very true.....but it can be helpful to find a cigar source who tastes a variety of cigars that you also like; takes some of the "guess" work out of throwing down hundreds of dollars for a box of cigars that you ultimately find repugnant and overpriced. I for one don't have the coin to...

    CAO Mx2 Robusto

Great advice Quarto! I just ordered a boxed press sampler featuring 3 each of: CAO LX2, CAO MX2, CAO Italia, CAO Brazilia from bestcigarprices.com for $51.95....little over 4 bucks per cigar for 12 90+ rated smokes is a killer deal...

    Newb Storage Question

I just ordered another box of Boveda packets (72%) and I love how easy they are to use, and the variety of humidification settings is great. I highly recommend the Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 50 years line......it's one of the best tasting cigars made in 2010.

Guide: How to salt test / calibrate your hygrometer

No, adjust your hygro so it reads 75% then put it in your humidor an you're all set. That's the entire purpose of doing the salt test, to calibrate your hygrometer to 75%. You definitely want to get some type of gels, beads etc. and Propylene Glycol solution making your hygrometer essential as...

    Call of Duty Black Ops

Finish COD Black Ops last month and thought it was amazing, and well deserving of all the hype. One shortcoming for me however was how short the game was in single player mode; which is a flaw that most online based games suffer from. I'm finishing up Assassins Creed brotherhood and I'm...

    Man Caves VS SAC'S

This thread makes me smile and feel tingly all over..........me and the fam live on base housing, so the man cave, avoidance center, garage, porch will have to wait, but "it" will be built and enjoyed once we get orders back to San Diego.
