Bump:
The Caliber's should not not need calibrating. However, the quick test is to put all three together in a closed humidor or a baggy and check that the readings match each other. Even better is to compare them against a calibrated hydrometer. If they are simply a point or so off, you...
Got my sampler order today - turn around was 2 or three days.. With no labels, I'm not certain which one I smoked but I lit up what looked like a Churchill. Gorgeous red/brown (colorado?) natural wrapper, delicious, lightly spiced, nutty smoke, perfect balance. Will write a more extensive review...
In my previous life, I reviewed software and cutting edge technology for some of the Washington Post company pubs. (Government Computer News, FedWeek, among others)
I didn't write about dog rockets then and I don't now. (Except the one time an unnamed company tried to bribe and intimidate me...
You'd be surprised how much cigar memorabilia, e.g, bands, boxes, tins, posters, etc are collected - some costing more than the contents did. Cigar boxes are sold on ebay every day. Most are fairly common, Oliva, AF, etc

At $80, price looks maybe a little to good. And I'm a little leery of glass on humidors.
Could you tell by looking what types of humidifying devices...
I wouldn't want anyone to think I was trashing the Flor de las Antillas Toro. It is a fine cigar in most ways. And I try to smoke 3 to 5 of any one stick before rendering final judegment. I suspect the Don Pepin fans here - and they are numerous - will love this cigar. I will smoke at least two...
Thanks to the BOTL here ar CP, I enjoyed many fine cigars in 2012. In fact, I haven't written much lately, partly because I've been busy smoking up my inventory. I went through over 20 boxes of cigars last year with the help of a few friends. I also was able to sample many, many fine cigars...

I no longer smoke pipes regularly but I do recall the bite problems as a novice. Like many things, the causes and solutions were multiple. Avoiding aromatic or flavored baccas, e.g, anything cherry or vanilla, smoking shallow sips, relighting promptly and dumping bacca that's gone cold, resting...
Greetings BOTLs:
Thought you might like to know that my buddy and I have sampled several dozen cigars from different makers and countries, including sticks from ISOM this last year - almost all recommended by you
I had one you made that I'd been resting and my buddy lit it up last Friday and...

Today's was an Oliva Master Blend 3. Didn't help the Nats win but it did ease the pain. Already wondering what the best companion will be for the O's and Yanks.
Baseball and cigars go great together. Enjoyed a La Flor Dominican's DL Chisel while watching my Nats get butt-kicked by the Cardinals, while my O's gave the Yanks a comeuppance.
