I store sticks in in closed cigar boxes in coolador with good results thus far. But should I take off tops as some advise for more even conditioning. Thanks.
Excellent point, as always. I would argue that identifying and quantifying good accessible cigars, as preferred by CP members, is itself a worthwhile endeavor. But I would heartily support an expert panel as well.
They have a super priced on Oliva Serie V ($117 per box ) posted but haven't answered the phone in two days. Before doing business with an online vendor for the first time, I generally try to talk to someone at the business via phone.
And Little Monsters takes the inside rail, pulls ahead by a nose, and charges for the finish line. Does Padron have enough in reserve to withstand the challenge? Maybe a dark horse lurks in the pack? Stay tuned.

Thanks for your interest. I haven't tried the "Corona Viva". Curiously, I don't believe it was offered at the Undercrown event I attended at W.C. Drapers.
Update on the Undercrown
As I mentioned in the original post, I was on a cigar jag and the Undercrown was the third stick I'd smoked that...
I agree that the choices should be constrained by time. A panel simply reflects the panel preferences and the statistical sample is small by definition. Rather than set up a panel, I was thinking simply of polling members about their favorite cigars and listing the top ten or twenty cigars - or...
I was wondering if there was a Top 25 Cigar List based on a poll among CP members. I didn't find anything after searching the forums nor did I see a related pinned topic. Of course, there are dozens of informal questions, "What's your favorite?; Whats the Best Value cigar?; etc." I know because...
After a nice lunch of assorted tapas, I smoked an Oliva Serie V Churchill at W.C. Drapers Saturday. Damned fine cigar. On approaching the last 25 per cent, I was thinking, "Oh, no! It's almost gone." Aromatic and complex spice from light to finish. So far, I've liked all things Oliva.
Picked up...

From Cigar Aficionado:
It’s impossible to exaggerate how well the Padrón family has done in our Top 25—three times the company has had a Cigar of the Year, and the Padróns have never failed to have a cigar in our top five. It’s an impressive show of consistency...
Like everything Oliva I've tried; last was serie g. FYI, I couldn't find the Serie V in stock but all the reviews I glanced at were top notch. Send us a source if you have one.
Please feel free to nominate a challenging cigar. I'm just tallying votes.
I've smoked two or three dozen different cigars in the last few weeks - most good but few standouts. I hadn't smoked a Padron for a couple of months but after reading the kudos for it in this thread, I pulled a Padron...
