I did bleed out through the base using a small screwdriver but there was a small bit I couldn't get. So I just opened the feed, locked it in place and let it drain that way. It's complete empty now. Thanks all for the suggestions (for some reason I was thinking there was some other way to do...
Cigar Aficionado has the samples: http://www.cigaraficionado.com/Cigar/CA_Static/Counterfeit/count_copage10.html and it does look like a fake. Perhaps it may be worthwhile to ask them (the B&M) if they were aware it was a fake?
This is why I stick with cedar matches in the checked luggage or travel via Amtrak. AFAIK, butane lighters in general are a no-no (checked or carry-on) while the others are ok. You can get containers for the Zippo variety that are to be used in checked-luggage. I always check here...
[rant mode] My g/f is pissed. The new law, akin to the FDAs requirement, has resulted in her not being able to get any Al Capones in NY anymore. I believe I still could order them from elsewhere but it's annoying. Of course this affects me directly because if the woman ain't happy, that means I...
Hrmm.. Amazon has it up for pre-sale: http://tinyurl.com/ycur46w
There they list the price as $55. So figure around that price. :)
Rod, I'd be interested in getting one (clear if possible).

Cutter -- yes
Butane -- no.
You can get cigar matches and put those in checked luggage. As someone who travels lots I've learned a few things to make life easier.
1. Go to this site and print it out: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm. I usually...
That fixed it for me. On the front page, bottom left it's still broked. :)
b.dawson: an RSS feed lets you see the title and sometimes a brief description of what a new post or blog is about. Essentially, it means I can see what new posts, reviews or whatever are going on in the forums without...
I usually check the RSS feeds on the cigar reviews to see what's new, liked and disliked. I noticed today that the RSS feed, specifically for the Cigar Reviews section doesn't seem to be working, whether from my reader or on the main page.
Me thinks it needs a poke.
Nice review. I did find out thanks to a comment on my review of this cigar that the wrapper is Ecuadorian Sumatra and suspect the filler to either be Nic and/or Dominican. The pricing is about the same with what I bought it at.
ROFL.. how fascinating that I had both of those. :)
Thanks everyone. I certainly don't feel old and honestly enjoy life far more now than I did when I was a young buck :). As an additionally, b-day gift I found a sweet little cigar manufacturing "shop" here in NYC (La Rosa Cubana) where I got...
