I have used plastic cigar cutters in the past but part of why I got this (I got one for home and one for on the road) was so I could have a reliable cutter (I find some of the plastic ones, even when new, questionable). I don't like cutting the cigars beforehand because I have no guarantees how...
MrPeat, hopefully that's the rare time and not the norm.
I'm very heartened by the number of people that don't have an issue with TSA when going through with their cutters. I wonder if it's a question of it being solid metal versus something with plastic or wood.
Hopefully this is the right forum but if not, apologies.
I recently purchased an Xikar X3 Spectra. I'd really like to not put it in my checked luggage when travelling (since we know how well luggage is getting around these days, particularly at my home airport of JFK). I've contemplated...
Ouch! I'd hate to imagine going 3 weeks without a single cigar to enjoy. :( Hopefully, you'll get better soon and will be able to enjoy some.
I had a Padron 3000 and a Rocky Patel Rosado. What a great way to enjoy a nice evening. :)
Smokes a Davidoff Winston Churchill #10 on the way to dinner and a Drew Estate Dirt on the way back (for dessert since it's a sweet-flavoured cigar). :) Made for a nice walk to and from.

I've pulled out a Georges, Nub Cameroon Torpedo, Davidoff Winston Churchill No. 10 and a Rocky Patel for smoking later. :)
I went, earlier this year, to Mexico City for work and went in search of a good Mexican cigar. I found that the Te Amos was bitter and unpleasant. But I did get a nice surprise with a Lieb (100 is mild and 300 full). I found only one place online sells them...
Hey everyone,
I was curious if anyone is part of this club and what their experience is/has been. I'm tempted to join but have to see if they can do USPS (our elevator is out for 2 months and the courier companies won't come up to the 7th floor; plus I tend to be on the road a bit so USPS...
I've been away (due to work) lately so I thought I'd update on what I've been smoking:

-- Padron Anniversary Series (N series? anyways perfect 10!)
-- Rocky Patel Sun Grown (8/10)
-- Romeo Y Julieta, Medallas de Oro 1875 (8/10)
-- Davidoff's WInston...
