I just bought one the other day on the recommendation of my old boss...he loved it and hates all CAO's. Also, the Humi manager at one of my favorite places to buy (he's been around the block a few times over the last 100 or so years) said it was the best cigar coming out of the DR in the last 2...
I smoked mine the other day, a double corona size. I really liked it...very smooth yet somewhat one dimentional for the first half. Then it opened up for the last half into an incredible and flavorful treat. I just can't wait to try other Padilla's.

Yes...in California for instance, that is how it is done... The Store owner has to pay the State Tobacoo Tax up front that is on the invoice...so the price you see on the shelf is supposed to include the tobacco tax. Then at the register, the store adds the state sales tax...double wammy!

I can't believe that these came from Fuente...they look so under-done. When you look at the other creations coming off the table from Fuente...they are so perfect...these look like they were done by an apprentice or something! Not to say anything bad about Fuente's creative geniuses, but these...
I posted a while back about wanting to take an AF candela, maduro and natural, remove the wrapper and do this type thing to an Opus or Anejo. Never did...but I think Andrew did! He took a hole punch, scissors and pectin glue and had himself some fun!!! That's my guess...
Let's put it this way...the PAM64 and PAM26 aren't even close to the same playing field. Each cigar has it's different origins (PAM from Nic and Opus Xfrom DR), so the profile will wil differ! I love the PAM64 Exclusivo but I also love the 2005 production of the Opus X Fuente Fuente...
It depends on the length of the cigar...but all in all...everyone is different and the time it takes depends on your smoking habits and time allowed to smoke. For me...I smoke as slowly as I know I have the time! Everyone is different!
