This morning I enjoyed a bowl of Frogmorton On The Town in a Savenelli Roma and this evening was some Carter Hall in a Dr. Grabow while walking the dogs. If I stay awake long enough I might cap things off with some Squadron Leader in a Savenelli pipe from 1993. We'll see. :D

Decided to keep things simple this evening - smoked some Prince Albert in a Dr. Grabow straight billiard (I think it's a Grand Duke). Very refreshing change of pace. :thumbs:

Went to the Austin City Limits festival over the weekend and my hotel was walking distance to Heroes & Legacies. Picked up tins of Nightcap and St. James Woods as well as an ebony Peterson Bulldog. Very nice score. :thumbs:

Just got my order from smokingpipes.com in: Christmas Cheer 2008 Escudo Navy Deluxe Frog Morton On The Bayou Savinelli Roma Pipe (very nice and inexpensive Pipe - already smoked a half bowl of Dunhill EMP in it!)

Today was a bowl of Penzance in a Parker Royal followed a bit later by a bowl of Squadron Leader in a 1993 Savinelli Sandblasted Bent Dublin.

Update ... Exchanged the leaking lighter for a new one and it works like a charm. The first one was just a dud it seems.

Just picked up a couple of estate pipes from Frenchy this week, a Parker Royal (bulldog) and a Peterson Aran #999. I haven't smoked 'em yet, but great looking and feeling pipes. Of course, Frenchy threw in some freebies as well. Great service and great pipes. :thumbs:

Well, I hate to say it, but after smoking a few bowls and refilling the new Xikar Pipeline with butane, that sucker leaks like crazy. I've tried completely bleeding and then refilling, but it still leaks out of the stem. I'm a little irritated, but I will exchange it at the B&M tomorrow if I...

Just picked up one of the Xikar pipe lighters today ... I haven't lit a pipe with it yet, but it looks like it will work just fine. Plus, with the lifetime warranty, you can't lose. I own a bunch of their cigar lighters and I have not had a problem yet. :thumbs:

No, only the natural with the Sumatra wrapper has the sweetened tip. The maduro is OK, slightly bitter but may even out with time in the humi. I'm not a big fan of the Flor de Oliva bundles, but YMMV.
