Snow tires are only absolutely necessary if snow plows don't exist in your city/town, or if you have a RWD car. And if you're going to get snow tires, get Blizzaks, they're the best, bar none.

Padron 2000 is usually a smoke you can't go wrong with . . . perhaps you had a bad one, but enough people on here (myself included) really enjoy them, so I might give it one more shot before ruling it out completely
